Tired of seeing my posts? TOO BAD
but for real, been working hard on updating what we can analyze from these stats. Not my fault you all have great suggestions to incorporate
Different from this morning, we're not just looking at the current week and current defensive matchup. Instead we're looking at the next 5 weeks and inferring the best/worst matchups using 6 weeks of data. I thought that this could be really useful for all of us looking to trade right now
TOMORROW I will be releasing the Players you NEED/AVOID for the Playoff weeks (14-17) using the current PPG allowed vs. projected data, so be on the lookout!

2020.10.19 22:13 faultinalaska Value of Ryan Tannehill?

What should I look to give to try and trade for him? I had Dak, when he got hurt, I traded for Cam, and just don't feel terribly comfortable with him as my starting QB. Should I even trade for him, or should I hold and see how this team performs?
My team is as follows:
QB: Cam & Ryan Fitzpatrick RB: Mike Davis (CMC when healthy), James Robinson, David Montgomery, Myles Gaskin, Antonio Gibson WR: Michael Thomas, Chris Godwin, Darius Slayton, Marvin Jones, Jerry Jeudy TE: Jonnu Smith, Robert Tonyan

2020.10.17 16:51 breakingkevin Week 6 NFL DFS picks and breakdown

Hey guys, haven't had time to stop in here in a while. Not that I have a huge following anyways, but thought I'd stop in and offer my thoughts for week six.
You can get your process going with my personal core for the week via my week 6 NFL DFS picks, but I'll break it all down in this post.
Usually I highlight my favorite plays based on value, and that link details my top QB, RB, WR, TE, and DEF based on safety and upside. As we've seen, COVID can change things, and I have a Viking and Patriot option listed.
I'll cover potential pivots as I break down each position a little bit here again (all advice is for DraftKings):
Quarterback
Lamar Jackson is the top guy on this slate in terms of raw projection, floor, and ceiling. However, he just hasn't been worth his salary much this season. He's been pretty inaccurate, he seems at less than 100%, and last week he ran just twice. If he's not going to be the dude he was last year - especially against a tough Eagles front seven that has given up 27 TOTAL rushing yards to quarterbacks (#1) all year, I can't really get on board in paying for him. The only thing appealing here is that the Ravens are sizable favorites and his ownership projection is again in the 5-6% range.
Aaron Rodgers is a bad, bad man. I think the Buccaneers defense is pretty overrated, too. Justin Herbert slayed them two weeks ago, and they've given up clutch plays to a seemingly washed Drew Brees and a pretty abysmal Nick Foles. Tampa Bay also lost their top interior defensive lineman, so the Packers should honestly be able to do what they want, well rested after a bye. Rodgers is on fire to start 2020 and people are likely going to overreact to the matchup (5-6% ownership projected). I love him as a GPP play and you can stack him with Davante/Jones/Tonyan (probably not all together, but hey, why not).
Chalk plays that look good:
  1. Ryan Tannehill
  2. Ryan Fitzpatrick
  3. Deshaun Watson
  4. Kirk Cousins
These guys are all considerably cheaper than the two expensive quarterbacks, and all are in play. My favorite is Cousins, and you can hit the link above for a little more detail on why.
Tannehill is actually even cheaper. I'm just a tad worried that this is a Derrick Henry game (Texans are dead last in rushing yards allowed to RBs).
Running Back
Speaking of running back, Henry is going to be tough to fade. He's honestly not even that expensive at DK when you consider his upside. He hasn't really blown up on an individual play basis this year (longest run is 16 yards), but the volume and scoring potential is pretty awesome in the face of the best possible matchup.
I'll gladly roster Henry, while Alexander Mattison is obvious chalk. I don't need to go into great detail here. That Falcons vs. Vikings game has a super high total, Dalvin Cook is out, and the Falcons are terrible against RBs. There's been some COVID stuff attached to that game, though, so just keep an eye on it and make sure it plays.
Myles Gaskin is among my favorite week 6 NFL DFS sleepers, as he has such a big role, and gets a bad Jets defense (5th most fantasy points allowed to RBs). You really can't go wrong with the top-priced guys, of course, as Mike Davis is a PPR fiend, and I doubt Aaron Jones, James Conner or Kareem Hunt are "bad" plays.
Jones is interesting attached to A-Rod or by himself. People will likely be scared by the price and matchup, but with the Bucs not as strong in the middle, I don't see a reason to shy away.
My top play at the position, though, is Jonathan Taylor. He's been fairly quiet, but we know he has the role, gets goal-line work, and will be facing a terrible Bengals run defense (2nd most rushing yards allowed). This is going to be a blow-up week for him.
Contrarian Play: Joe Mixon
Miles Sanders fits the mold here, too. Both of these guys have really bad matchups, but they are elite physical talents and have true feature back roles. I slightly prefer Mixon, as he's the more explosive player, and he's always involved in the offense no matter what. He's also a little cheaper ($400 less), and his matchup might be a tad overblown with Indy likely missing stud linebacker Darius Leonard. It's also worth noting that Kareem Hunt did put up 93 total yards and a score against them last week.
Wide Receiver
A.J. Brown is super chalky, so even though he's a really good price, I'll likely look to get off of him. Same goes for Chase Claypool. If I'm right and this is more of a Derrick Henry game, then what is Brown's ceiling? And as much of a "duh" play as Claypool seems to be (4 TDs last week), how can we possibly ignore the presence of JuJu Smith-Schuster?
The Browns are awful at stopping the pass (2nd most fantasy points allowed to WRs) and if everyone is on Chase, I will absolutely pay up for a lower-owned JuJu. This doesn't mean Claypool/Brown are bad plays and shouldn't be used. I just might end up being over-weight on Henry and JuJu (or even pivot to James Washington or use Eric Ebron).
That Vikings/Falcons game is an obvious game to target. Calvin Ridley, Julio Jones, Adam Thielen, and Justin Jefferson all look like great plays, chalk be damned.
Contrarian plays I like:
JuJu is honestly currently projected to be lower owned than both of these guys, so I'll double down in that spot. Pittsburgh is strong defensively, but they'll likely try to stop Cleveland's running game and I wouldn't be shocked if the Steelers lead for much of this one (although I think the Browns are a sneaky upset pick). But the Steelers allow the 4th most fantasy points to WRs and this could end up being a bit of a shootout.
Same goes for that Lions vs. Jaguars game. Everyone is on the table there, but with much of the focus likely geared toward Kenny Golladay, why not just save some cash and roster Jones and his random ass 3-touchdown upside at 4% ownership?
Tight End
This remains a garbage position. If there is one position I have really struggled with all year, this is it. Maybe you don't want my advice here then, but part of my problem is I have been rolling the dice with value plays.
I tried Robert Tonyan and Adam Trautman in games where they got 0 points. I rolled out Logan Thomas pretty much every week. It's a tough life, guys.
Mark Andrews is the clear play here. Jonnu Smith, Evan Engram, Trey Burton, T.J. Hockenson all give me indigestion just thinking about using them, but the matchups look good.
Should we go right back to the Robert Tonyan well? With Davante back, I probably won't, but he's not a bad try.
If you're like me and you're going to throw caution to the win and punt tight end anyways, Irv Smith calls out to me. He had a mild breakout game last week and the Falcons are the team that let Tonyan score three times two weesk ago. Just saying.
Defense
This is a total crapshoot if you're looking for value. The expensive defenses have ruled the DFS realm all season, so if you have the funds, just pay for the Patriots, Colts, or Ravens.
I still probably won't, because I am stubborn and hate investing money in defenses when they can be so damn volatile. I like Miami vs. Joe Flacco, and the Vikings at home. Minnesota has looked waaaay better defensively the past two weeks, and while that game could get wild, they are dirt cheap and tend to play better at home.
Thanks for reading, and hopefully this helps you with your process in week six. Hit the links for my top picks and sleepers in the post above, and let me know your thoughts on the slate. I'll answer any questions I'm able, as well.

2020.10.15 03:30 -commish 2020 Kailee McKelvey Week 5 Recap

Good evening, everybody. As I type this intro, the Dodgers are laying down a shellacking on the Braves. Like for real. I know you all care about that. Earlier this week, the Lakers won number 17. It was a big Lakers win for Kelsey and myself, but it was an even bigger win for admitted Bronsexual, Darius. Don't worry, Darius, I still think MJ is the GOAT. In the fantasy football world, we had to scramble and roll with the COVID changes. Luckily, the Bills-Titans game was not cancelled, so we were treated with Tuesday Night Football. Hopefully we can get through the next week without issues. Alright, with all that being said, let's get started:
-Possum Pendulum vs. Ruth Beckham Ginsburg jr.
This one looked close on paper. Possum Pendulum got good numbers on Thursday night, making it look like it'd be an exciting week. Then Sunday came, and Ruth Beckham Ginsburg jr. got out to a huge lead, started by Pat Mahomes (30.7 pts). Stefon Diggs(21.6 pts) did his best during Tuesday Night Football, but the rest of the Bills struggled, allowing Trevor to walk away with the W. By the way, if Kole would've started the correct players, this result would've been different.
FINAL SCORE: Possum Pendulum 112.22 Ruth Beckham Ginsburg jr. 131.7
-Make America Gronk Again vs. Holyhead Harpies
So last week, I thought I saw the game of the year. Well, we already have another game of the year candidate. What a match up. Myles Gaskin(20.1 pts) lead the way for the Holyhead Harpies. Adam Theilen(29.3 pts) helped Make America Gronk Again hold a steady lead on SNF. Fast forward to Tuesday Night, where Derrick Henry got juuuust enough to give his team the latest lead change in Kailee McKelvey history. Julia finally gets a win!
FINAL SCORE: Make America Gronk Again 103.78 Holyhead Harpies 104.56
-Green eggs and Cam vs. Alabama, but Professional
While I think this game was closer than the final score, Jeramy seemed to be in control for most of this. Deshaun Watson(25.86 pts) did his best for Alabama, but Professional to keep it close. Green eggs and Cam took a lead into Monday Night, where a crew of Sarah's players got it close, but couldn't quite get over the hump. Tuesday Night meant Ryan Tannehill(30 pts) giving Jeramy a nice victory lap. It's finally over, we no longer have any undefeated teams in the league. Everyone gets an L!
FINAL SCORE: Green eggs and Cam 156.7 Alabama, but Professional 120.76
-Fresh Prince of Helaire vs. HALF CHUBB
Not too much to say on this one. HALF CHUBB was pretty much in control throughout the week. Kareem Hunt(18.3 pts) got things going for Fresh Prince of Helaire, but the team couldn't find much else. Mike Davis(29.9 pts) helped HALF CHUBB to a lead, and they ran away with it.
FINAL SCORE: Fresh Prince of Helaire 108 HALF CHUBB 149.42
-My Ball Zach Ertz vs. JOEVID 19
This was another match up where one team was in control the whole time. Lance got a good outing from Todd Gurley(26 pts), but couldn't get much else going. Kyler Murray (27.3 pts) helped JOEVID 19 out to a solid lead, which they maintained the rest of the week. Nobody was able to do much on Monday or Tuesday, getting Kelsey back above .500. Fun fact, did you know Kelsey has a win-loss line of WLWLW? Let's see if that trend continues next week!
FINAL SCORE: My Ball Zach Ertz 115.34 JOEVID 19 152.1
After Week 5, here is ESPN's final standing projection.
  1. Ruth Beckham Ginsburg jr.
  2. Alabama, but Professional
  3. JOEVID 19
  4. Fresh Prince of Helaire
  5. Green eggs and Cam
  6. My Ball Zach Ertz
  7. Possum Pendulum
  8. Holyhead Harpies
  9. HALF CHUBB
  10. Make America Gronk Again
And finally, your 2020 Championship Odds:
Team Odds
Alabama, but Professional +350
Ruth Beckham Ginsburg jr. +350
My Ball Zach Ertz +500
Possum Pendulum +550
JOEVID 19 +650
Green eggs and Cam +650
HALF CHUBB +1000
Fresh Prince of Helaire +1450
Make Great America Gronk Again +1600
Holyhead Harpies +2000
I hope everyone is having a great week, and good luck in Week 6!

2020.10.13 22:59 _snipe_celly_ Week 6 Trade Targets in Detail: Deebo, Robby, Sterling

A few trade targets going into Week 6... let me know what you think and if there’s someone else you guys are trying to buy.
Buy: Deebo Samuel (WR, SF)
Deebo came on in a big way in his rookie year, leading all 49er wide receivers in receptions and receiving yards . After playing only 63% of snaps over his first 8 weeks of the season, Deebo played over 82% of snaps in the final 8. Over those final 8 games of 2019, Deebo was the WR4 in standard scoring and WR9 in PPR.
There was a lot of hype surrounding Deebo early on in the offseason, but he suffered a foot injury back in June during player workouts and has been under the radar ever since. After being placed on IR to start the season, Deebo was eased back into the action in Week 4 vs the Eagles, playing only 34% of snaps but grabbing all 3 of his targets for 35 yards and adding a 10 yard rush. Deebo had 8 targets on 89% of snaps versus Miami, tying George Kittle for the team lead. Any fears about Brandon Aiyuk taking a chunk of Deebo's role have largely been assuaged; Deebo still seems to be the #1 target.
Take a quick glance at the list of defensive players that the 49ers currently have on IR: DE Nick Bosa, DE Dee Ford, DT Solomon Thomas, DE Ezekiel Ansah, DE Ronald Blair, DT Julian Taylor, CB K'Waun Williams, CB Richard Sherman, OLB Mark Nzeocha. Now add MLB Kwon Alexander, CB Ken Webster, CB Emmanuel Moseley, CB Dontae Johnson, DT D.J. Jones, all of whom are currently questionable to play in Week 6. Is it any surprise that Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins were able to score at will this past weekend?
Everyone knows having a bad defense is great for a wide receiver's ability to rack up garbage time points in a negative game script. But even if the 49ers are ahead, Kyle Shanahan loves to use Deebo as a runner on quick screens and jet sweeps. He finished 2019 with at least 20 rushing yards in 4 of the last 5 weeks, and he's had a carry in each game he's played so far this year.
Fantasy is a game of talent meeting opportunity. You only have to check out his highlight reel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1yM1_qPCwc) to see his explosive talent, and the opportunity he seems poised to get in this 49ers offense is extremely encouraging. Deebo is a WR2 with proven potential to finish as a top 10 WR. Owners who drafted him and stashed him on IR might have forgotten the potential they saw when they drafted him. If you can get him now for the price of an RB3 like Antonio Gibson or Myles Gaskin from an RB-needy team, take it and run.
tl;dr Take advantage of the 49ers injury-riddled defense and Deebo's early season injury to trade for someone who can win you your league.
Buy: Robby Anderson (WR, CAR)
Robby Anderson made himself known to fantasy owners at the end of 2018, putting up 4/76/1, 7/96/1, and 9/140/1 over weeks 13-15, likely go-route-ing his owners straight into the playoffs. His 2019 was a bit of a disappointment, however. Blame Adam Gase, blame Sam Darnold's bout with mono, but Robby finished with either 100 yards or 5+ receptions only 3 times the entire season.
He signed with the Panthers this offseason on a 2 year, $22 mil contract to complement Teddy Bridgewater's game and boy, has he complemented it. Through 5 weeks, Robby is the WR11 in standard and WR6 in PPR, after being drafted on average in the 13th round (12 team leagues).
D.J. Moore was expected to man the #1 WR role in a mediocre Carolina offense, with Curtis Samuel and Robby Anderson fighting for scraps behind Moore and Christian McCaffery. However, despite Robby playing only 72% of snaps (Moore has played 82%, Samuel 65%), he's amassed a whopping 27% target share, ranking 7th among all NFL wide receievers. He is also tied for 7th among WRs in red zone targets with 6; however, he only has scored 1 TD so far this year. Expect the TDs to come soon, and come in droves.
Robby Anderson is already a WR1 on the season, but because of his low ADP, he might not be valued as such. We're already in Week 6, and owners will soon forget about draft position and start to realize just how valuable Robby is. Once the TDs start coming, there will be no chance to trade for him at a discount. Buy now, and buy fast. Robby Anderson is a WR1 the rest of the season, and just like LeBron, it's almost time he gets his damn respect.
tl;dr Robby's low ADP might have some owners hesitant to value him as a WR1. Pounce on the opportunity before his red zone looks turn into touchdowns.
[edit: forgot to post sterling shepard]
Buy: Sterling Shepard (WR, NYG)
Sigh. The New York Football Giants without Saquon Barkley are... sad. It's tough to watch. Their o-line is horrendous and Danny Dimes hasn't even been able to drop pennies. However, there is hope on the horizon, at least from a fantasy perspective. The Giants have had an extremely rough schedule to open the season, playing the Steelers, Bears, 49ers, and Rams in weeks 1-4. In week 5, this offense was finally able to score, dropping 34 on the Cowboys but still managing to lose the game.
The Giants play Philadelphia and Washington twice each in the next 5 weeks, which should allow their offense to at become somewhat competent. Their O-line is still a disaster, so don't expect much running room for Devonta Freeman. This team is going to need to pass the ball to win games. Enter Sterling Shepard.
Shepard has been on IR since Week 2 with a toe injury, but he is expected to play in Week 6. Shepard and Darius Slayton are this team's 1a and 1b at receiver, and with with Golden Tate looking close to retirement and Evan Engram forgetting how to play football, he should have more than enough opportunity to collect fantasy points. Slayton looked good in this last game, grabbing 8 of 11 targets for 129 yards. However, most of his routes run were short in and out routes, which are typically dominated by slot specialist Sterling Shepard. Without an o-line giving him any time to throw, look for Daniel Jones to check down frequently to Shepard.
Take advantage of Slayton's recent success with Shepard out to trade for a high floor WR3. He isn't in a good enough offense to have the ceiling of a Justin Jefferson or John Brown, but on a week-to-week basis he should be in the same conversation. Go get him and feel confident plugging him into your WR3 or Flex spot every week. You won't regret it.
tl;dr Sterling Shepard is a WR3 who you can get for next to nothing. Don't be scared of the Giants offense, as they have a weak schedule coming up and the bad o-line play will mean more targets for Shepard.

2020.10.11 16:15 Feendogg8 Is this trade collusion?

I’m in a league with a group of guys I’ve known since high school. One of the guys usually does pretty good but has fallen on, let’s say, hard times and has one of the worst teams he’s ever had in 20+ years and is definitely on tilt. Yesterday he made this trade -
He trades: Michael Thomas Le’veon Bell Myles Gaskin
In return: Darius Slayton Tyler Lockett Devonte Freeman
Am I overreacting or is this nuts? Some guys in the league immediately started making half jokes about collusion but I’m not sure that isn’t actually the case! The person in question has been know to partake in an adult beverage from time to time and maybe he just had a long day but good lord! Somebody calm me down.

2020.10.11 01:24 Kilik_Ali12 NFL W5 Value Options - DraftKings

Stack of the Week
Teddy Bridgewater ($5,900) and Robby Anderson ($5,900) @ ATL: Offenses have feasted on the 0-4 Falcon's secondary all year. Bridgewater should have a relatively high ceiling against a defense allowing over 340 YPG through the air, and his favorite target thus far has been Anderson, the former Jet who's caught at least 5 passes and accrued 55+ yards in each of his games as a Panther.
(Value plays are QBs below $6,000, position players below $5,000 and D/STs below $3,000.)
QB
Philip Rivers ($5,800) @ CLE: Definitely not a high ceiling here through the first four weeks, but the thought is Cleveland's secondary has been generous to opposing QBs, ranking 25th in DKFP allowed. I do want to stress that I think this IND-CLE game will be low-scoring and unfriendly for fantasy, but there's a chance Rivers goes off and hits up his trio of TEs as well as options like T.Y. Hilton ($4,900) and Zach Pascal ($4,600) often. Have exposure to Rivers as a GPP option.
Ryan Fitzpatrick ($5,600) @ SF: The matchup is unfriendly, but Fitzpatrick has been solid over his last three games, notching 25+ DKFP in each. His ability to improvise with his legs has helped his stat lines, which may be needed against even an injury-depleted 49ers' front. Fitzmagic's matchup may deter the field from him, which can work to your advantage. I'd stick to either DeVante Parker ($5,900) or potentially Myles Gaskin ($4,800) as stack options, though Mike Gesicki ($5,000) is an option as well.
Jimmy Garoppolo ($5,500) vs. MIA: Jimmy G is starting after missing the past two games with an ankle injury. Hard not to like him at this price against Miami's 28th-ranked pass defense. The Dolphins also allow the 2nd-most DKFP to opposing QBs, which bodes well for a San Francisco offense that's getting healthy at the right time - George Kittle ($6,600) just caught 15 of 15 targets last Sunday night, and Deebo Samuel ($5,300, illness) just came off IR from foot surgery, though is questionable pending the results of another COVID-19 test.
Daniel Jones ($5,400) @ DAL: Any QB facing the Cowboys right now should be considered, even ones like Jones that are struggling. I won't sugarcoat it - the Giants offense has been a hot mess this season with Saquon Barkley on IR - but Jones has a chance to right the ship with Dallas' defense being such a sieve. Stack him with Darius Slayton ($4,800) or Evan Engram ($4,600), with Golden Tate ($4,600) being a decent high-floor option.
Kyle Allen ($4,100) vs. LAR: Okay it's a longshot but Allen had some decent games with Carolina last year and is reunited with his head coach Ron Rivera. Now that Allen has been named the starter, this is the only chance to get a starter at such a cheap price. Maybe not the best matchup against the Rams, but Allen has Terry McLaurin ($6,100), who's been playing amazingly despite some inconsistent QB play from Dwayne Haskins. Antonio Gibson ($5,000) has some stellar value no matter who the QB is honestly - he's been playing pretty well since Washington opted to release veteran Adrian Peterson before Week 1.
RB
Chase Edmonds ($4,700) @ NYJ: There's a real chance the Cardinals get ahead of the Jets early - and if that's the case, Edmonds may see extra run in a friendly matchup. Though Kenyan Drake ($5,700) has been reportedly fine after his chest injury, it's possible Arizona gives Edmonds more touches as an extra precaution for Drake to get back to 100%.
Devonta Freeman ($4,600) @ DAL: Remember just how bad the Cowboys' defense got bowled over by the Browns' rushing game last week? Yeah, Freeman's got a high outlook if Dallas even looks half as bad on Sunday. For a low-priced RB, Freeman isn't in the worst spot.
J.K. Dobbins ($4,300) vs. CIN: While I think CIN-BAL will be a closer game than one may think, I can easily see Baltimore jumping to a big lead and Dobbins getting some extra touches against the 27th-ranked rush defense, allowing 158.5 YPG on the ground. Dobbins is too talented to keep on the bench for long, so hopefully this is the game that HC John Harbaugh lets Dobbins get some more run.
WR
Tee Higgins ($4,900) @ BAL: Higgins has seen 22 targets in his last three games, and caught 9 passes for 117 yards and 2 TDs in his last two games. The rookie second-rounder is a key contributor in an offense that features A.J. Green ($4,800) and Tyler Boyd ($6,200), with Green being targeted often yet struggling to be the receiver he was pre-injury. Higgins is a dynamic threat for Joe Burrow ($6,000), and Baltimore is allowing 270 YPG through the air, so at $4,900 Higgins is still a steal.
Curtis Samuel ($4,800) @ ATL: Samuel's struggled overall, but still put up 9+ DKFP in two different games this season. This is a juicy matchup, and I imagine Samuel's gotta have a decent game sometime... right?
Greg Ward ($4,600) @ PIT: 18 targets in the past two weeks, mostly because of attrition. The Eagles have virtually no healthy WRs, and volume is king in DFS, so hard not to like Ward knowing Pittsburgh is 27th in DKFP allowed to WRs.
Zach Pascal ($4,600) @ CLE: Indy's passing game is fairly weak but I love Pascal's matchup - he did just see 8 targets, and with the injuries in the Indy receiving corps, I'm of a mind that Pascal continues to see increased looks.
Chase Claypool ($4,100) vs. PHI: It's a bit of a reach considering Diontae Johnson ($5,600) has been cleared from the concussion protocol with the help of the impromptu bye week, but Claypool is an explosive, big-bodied receiver who will be a threat in this league for a long time. The Eagles are hurting in the secondary, so maybe Claypool has a big long bomb for a TD. I imagine that James Washington ($4,900) could be a trade piece for the Steelers in the next few weeks, in all honesty.
Jeff Smith ($3,000) vs. ARI: Bottom of the barrel, but Smith saw 9 targets against the Broncos, and Breshad Perriman ($4,000, ankle) is doubtful, so I'm loving Smith as an option to have a second solid week at minimum salary and a way to help stack studs in your lineups.
TE
Dalton Schultz ($4,800) vs. NYG: With the way Dallas has been playing on offense, every offensive player down to Cedrick Wilson ($3,100) and Schultz are viable fantasy options. The tight end has done admirably in the stead of Blake Jarwin, with at least 4 receptions and 48 yards in each game since Week 2. The Cowboys don't need to win for Schultz to be fantasy-relevant, though I will say that I think Dallas will get ahead to a big lead in this one. Then again, it's very possible the Giants keep up with a depleted offense. So this isn't the safest play, but I like virtually any Dallas receiver right now regardless of matchup.
Hayden Hurst ($4,700) vs. CAR: His target share is inconsistent, but Hurst is another tight end in a high-flying offense - unfortunately though, the Falcons have been very wishy-washy this year. It makes Hurst more of a GPP play, but it's very possible with Julio Jones ($6,800, hamstring) not 100% even if he plays, Hurst could be targeted a tad more often. Carolina has done fairly well against the pass (227 passing YPG allowed), and ranks 7th in DKFP allowed to TEs, so Hurst's ceiling is certainly not high, but he's a solid red zone target for Matt Ryan ($6,100).
Evan Engram ($4,600) @ DAL: Look up to what I said about Slayton above and consider Engram as another option in the Giants' struggling offense - someone's gotta catch the ball, and Dallas has been awful defensively this year. Don't overexpose Engram in lineups but keep him as an option for sure.
Eric Ebron ($4,000) vs. PHI: The Steelers offense gets back Johnson, so Ebron likely may not see 7 targets against the Eagles - but Ebron's a tall red zone option for Ben Roethlisberger ($6,600), and the red zone should be seen fairly often given the injuries to the Eagles' secondary. I think Ebron could be a cost-effective option compared to the more expensive Kittle and Travis Kelce ($6,400).
Tyler Eifert ($3,400) @ HOU: He suffered what the Jags thought was a concussion against his former team last week, but Eifert will be good to go against Houston. It's concerning that he hasn't caught more than three passes in a game yet, but Eifert should see some red zone opportunity assuming James Robinson ($6,700) can pave the way on the ground and get the Jags close enough. I would have liked James O'Shaughnessy ($3,000) in the same spot if Eifert were out, but Eifert's of course a more proven pass catcher. Like many TEs, Eifert is TD-dependent but cheap enough in a good matchup to be relevant for some money.
D/ST
Browns ($2,700) vs. IND: The Browns have some decent pass-rushing options led by Myles Garrett, though the Colts' offensive line is among the best in the league. I expect maybe 2-3 sacks in this game from Cleveland, with hopefully a turnover or two mixed in (the Browns have 4 INTs and 6 FRs on the year - at least 1 FR in each game thus far). The nature of this game screams defensive, so I'm of a mind that the Browns try and force Philip Rivers to hit his receivers downfield. Browns should be good for about 6+ DKFP at this spot, which saves from options like the Cardinals ($4,100) and the Steelers ($3,800) in their matchups.
Panthers ($2,400) @ ATL: The Panthers have notched five turnovers in their last two games. As long as they can get a few sacks, their floor will be high for the low price. Should be good for at least 4-5 DKFP.
Who are you targeting on this slate? Let's talk options in the comments below! Best of luck with your lineups.

2020.10.08 16:14 blackjack30000 Reddit Consensus Positional Rankings [Week 5] (All My Homies Hate Ridley)

First off I want to thank the 950+ unique users who helped cast 37,000+ votes on the voting polls for this weeks rankings, without their contributions this post would not be possible. The Ranks are below along with the comparison vs the Experts' Consensus Ranks. Be sure to come back next Tuesday & Wednesday to participate toward the consensus on the weekly voting polls.
The Numbers Next to the players names are a score from the poll, here is a quick explanation on how to interpret those numbers. The score of a player is the estimated chance that they will outscore against a randomly chosen player. For example, a score of 100 means the player is predicted to outscore every time and a score of 0 means the player is predicted to score less every time. All Ranks PPR Experts' Ranks are pulled from the consensus ranks on Fantasy Pros.

2020.10.02 15:41 Kilik_Ali12 NFL W4 Value Plays - DraftKings

Value Stack of the Week - Ryan Fitzpatrick ($5,400) and DeVante Parker ($5,700) - Seattle may be firing on all cylinders offensively, but their secondary looks like straight-up Swiss cheese through the first three weeks of NFL action, allowing over 430 passing yards per game while being the most generous defense to both the QB and WR positions. I wouldn't be surprised if this stack helped win someone the Milly Maker this week.
Value plays to me consist of any QB $6,000 and below, any position player at $5,000 or below, and any defense at $3,000 or below. I slightly adjust these scales based on the slate, as prices jumps can effect who is considered value and who isn't.
QB
Matthew Stafford ($5,900) vs. NO: Stafford has been fairly consistent through three straight games, and I believe the return of Kenny Golladay ($6,000) last week will be a boost for the gunslinger going forward. New Orleans has talent on defense but hasn't translated that into much outside of Week 1's win over the Tom Brady-led Buccaneers - the Saints have four sacks and a fumble recovery over the last two weeks. This trend bodes well for Stafford, who should be comfortable throwing the ball to Golladay as well as options like T.J. Hockenson ($4,800) and Marvin Jones Jr. ($4,900) after coming off a narrow win over the high-flying Cardinals last week. We haven't seen tremendous upside with Stafford yet, as he hasn't posted 20+ DKFP in a game thus far, but he's a solid-floor option with a potential to hit big in what could be a shootout (NO has allowed 30+ points in the last two weeks).
Baker Mayfield ($5,800) @ DAL: Okay, I know thus far Baker's been below average from a fantasy standpoint (averaging 13.8 DKFP/game), but he's faced three straight defenses that do well against the pass - not to mention the Browns are a run-first team, running 53% of the time with Nick Chubb ($7,000) and Kareem Hunt ($6,200, groin), but keep in mind Dallas' secondary is one of the kindest to opposing QBs, with only the Seahawks being less threatening. With Dallas notching two turnovers in their first three games as well as a potential for Hunt to miss this game with his groin injury, I think Mayfield could do well stacked with Odell Beckham Jr. ($5,800) in this one. Mayfield attempted just 23 passes in each of his last two games, but that trend has a high chance of ending in a back-and-forth scenario with the Cowboys.
Nick Foles ($5,700) vs. IND: Yes, the Colts' defense has looked astounding over their first three games, but to be fair, they played Kirk Cousins and Sam Darnold in their last two. Nick Foles is not the kind of guy to lean on long-term, however there's value in playing him on a slate with a bunch of stud options and other appealing value plays. Foles' connection with Allen Robinson II ($6,700) in the 30-26 comeback win over Atlanta was a good start to his tenure with Chicago. I'm not expecting the Colts to get stomped obviously, but Foles could make this a much more interesting game than the numbers let on. With complementary options like Anthony Miller ($4,900), Jimmy Graham ($3,800) and Darnell Mooney ($3,000), Foles has a chance to make the Colts' defense look less superhuman than they've been over the start of the 2020 season. Keep Foles in your player pool, even if you're personally skeptical.
Derek Carr ($5,300) vs. BUF: Carr has been, for the most part, solid in his first three weeks, completing 74% of his passes while throwing for a 6:0 TD:INT ratio and at least over 200 yards per week, though he has fumbled three times in his last two games. His salary has dropped little by little each week, and Buffalo just got gashed by the Rams' offense. The Raiders' receiving corps is banged up, with Henry Ruggs III ($4,800, hamstring) possibly not playing and Bryan Edwards ($3,300, ankle) is also trending in the wrong direction. But don't let that discourage you from playing Carr, who will still have Darren Waller ($5,200!!!) as well as Hunter Renfrow ($4,600) and other veteran options like Nelson Agholor ($3,500) and Zay Jones ($3,000) to lean on in the passing game. Buffalo has good talent on defense but has allowed 60 points and two 300+ yard, 2 TD performers in their last two weeks.
RB
Myles Gaskin ($5,000) vs. SEA: Gaskin has 12 targets out of the backfield in his last two games and has appeal in the passing game despite Seattle's stinginess against RBs (the Seahawks allow the 6th-fewest DKFP to the position). Playing Gaskin in the hopes that he sees the end zone to cap off an otherwise-decent stat line isn't the worst bet you can make this week. Gaskin hasn't scored yet but this is a decent matchup for him to do so... just as long as Jordan Howard ($4,100) doesn't poach ANOTHER goal line score.
J.K. Dobbins ($4,800) @ WAS: His limited opportunities make him a huge risk for fantasy, but there's a large chance Baltimore gets ahead early over the Football Team - in that scenario, Dobbins is likely to see extra work, which could translate to the fantasy scoreboard. Dobbins may not be a top value option, but keep him on your radar as he's an explosive talent who could start seeing more touches if he can maximize his opportunities this week.
Ronald Jones II ($4,700) vs. LAC: Let me preface this by saying RoJo is not in an ideal situation in a crowded backfield with LeSean McCoy ($4,000) and Leonard Fournette ($5,600, ankle), though the injury to the latter caused him to miss practice Wednesday and has a chance to effect his availability against the Chargers. RoJo has seen consistent usage in the offense, and just saw 17 touches against the Broncos. Averaging 10.1 DKFP/game, RoJo is a TD-dependent option on a team that will not have Chris Godwin (hamstring) and has a banged up backup option in Scotty Miller ($4,100, hip/groin). Tom Brady ($6,100) has thrown 35+ times in each game thus far, but RoJo may be leaned on a bit more than normal with Godwin on the sideline.
Chris Thompson ($4,100) @ CIN: James Robinson ($6,500) is the king of this backfield, and make no mistake about that. But that doesn't mean Thompson doesn't get any looks - with 10 targets over his past two games, Thompson sees opportunity in the passing game, though not a whole lot. You're banking on a TD from the veteran scat back, but Cincy is kind to RBs, allowing over 180 YPG on the ground (31st in the NFL) while also allowing the 27th-most DKFP to RBs. Cincy's defense isn't good, so I expect them to get gashed by Robinson and Thompson whenever either is on the field.
WR
Darius Slayton ($5,000) @ LAR: Some of us probably jumped on Slayton against the banged-up 49ers defense, but we didn't think Daniel Jones ($5,100) would be so bad. The Giants will certainly be playing catchup in this contest as well, so hopefully Slayton continues to see 5+ targets as the Rams have been fairly middle-of-the-pack against the WR position, though they allow over 250 passing YPG (21st in the NFL). Nothing astounding, but opportunity is still there for Slayton with no Saquon Barkley or Sterling Shepard for New York. Slayton's very boom or bust, but could be a solid GPP play, as his Week 1 stat line (6-102-2 on 9 targets) vs. Pittsburgh shows that he's capable of being a producer if given opportunities down the field. Assume Jones will rebound a bit here against the Rams and Slayton can reap the benefits. Golden Tate ($4,600) is a high-floor option for the Giants offense due to Shepard's absence, but Slayton has more upside.
Randall Cobb ($4,800) vs. MIN: Just 10 targets in his last two games, but Deshaun Watson ($6,600) has been hitting him for big gains (Cobb had a 4-95-1 line @ PIT last week). Watson is bound to throw more than 30 times against the Vikings' subpar secondary that allows 292 YPG through the air, and while Will Fuller ($5,900) will see his targets, Cobb is a solid complementary option that's hitting his stride at the right time.
Cole Beasley ($4,700) @ LV: Fellow Bill John Brown ($5,100, calf) is looking like he'll play, but Beasley sees solid usage as the slot in Buffalo (20 targets over his first three games), which I think can translate well with the Raiders needing to be focused on containing QB Josh Allen ($7,300) as well as star receiver Stefon Diggs ($6,800). The Raiders have been stingy against WRs, but keep in mind they've played the Saints without Michael Thomas and the Patriots, who rammed the ball down the Raiders' throats. Worth putting in lineups despite an okay matchup on paper.
Hunter Renfrow ($4,600) vs. BUF: No Ruggs or Edwards here, so I love Renfrow at this price and in this matchup. Really don't need to explain this one that much.
Tee Higgins ($4,500) vs. JAX: Just caught 2 TDs, and I think it's a sign of things to come. The Jaguars are fairly decent defensively, but also have to cover A.J. Green ($5,500) as well as Tyler Boyd ($6,100). Obviously recency bias makes Higgins more intriguing than he'll likely be for Week 4, but he's worth slotting in to the occasional lineup in the hope of a repeat performance - plus, a rookie WR getting 9 targets in a game is a good sign, even if said game went into OT.
Mecole Hardman ($4,300) vs. NE: New England has an elite corner in Stephon Gilmore, but speedy receivers are king against the Patriots' defense. The way I see it - Tyreek Hill ($6,900) will likely see plenty of double coverage (over-top from Devin McCourty), while Travis Kelce sees similar treatment - if Gilmore shadows Sammy Watkins ($4,400) to take him out of the game, that leaves Hardman as the sort-of odd man out - someone likely to be forgotten about by the notorious game-planning of Bill Belichick. Will that translate into a HUGE game for Hardman? Likely not, but I think he could have a long TD - which is enough to warrant playing, especially at $4,300.
Justin Watson ($3,400) vs. LAC: Okay, no Chris Godwin (hamstring), and Scotty Miller (hip/groin) has missed practice both Wednesday and Thursday. Makes Watson's outlook fairly decent, even against a tough Chargers' defense. While Mike Evans ($6,400), Rob Gronkowski ($3,600) and O.J. Howard ($3,300) will see their targets, Watson's got a nice projected volume heading into Sunday.
TE
T.J. Hockenson ($4,800) vs. NO: Saints haven't handled TEs well, allowing TDs to O.J. Howard and Darren Waller, with the latter piling up 105 yards on 12 receptions. While Hockenson is not on the same level as Waller, the former is headed for a good line on Sunday if he sees a similar workload to the 7 targets he saw against Arizona, especially with Kenny Golladay ($6,000) active.
Hunter Henry ($4,600) @ TB: Sees too many targets to not be in your player pool (23 over his first three games). Henry is talented enough to consistently be in the top tier of the TE position, and is averaging 12.2 DKFP despite the Chargers 1-2 record. With at least 5 receptions and 50+ yards in each game thus far, Henry's a safe floor option who may not have the best matchup at Tampa Bay, but just needs to find the end zone to become an elite option on the slate.
Dalton Schultz ($4,300) vs. CLE: 16 targets over the last two games tells me that Schultz will be relevant as the top TE for the Cowboys (get well, Blake Jarwin!). Cleveland does not defend TEs well, so I'm hoping we get another solid outing from Schultz as Dak Prescott ($7,200) looks to sling the ball around following a tough loss to the Seahawks last week.
Jimmy Graham ($3,800) vs. IND: Some recency bias here with his 2 TD performance against the Falcons, but Graham should become a more fantasy-relevant option with Foles under center. Don't necessarily expect 10 targets a game, but Graham is still a legitimate red zone threat, and you saw what I mentioned earlier about the Colts defense and their matchups of late. Don't fade Graham just because the matchup makes his outlook worse than it really is.
Rob Gronkowski ($3,600 vs. LAC: Like I said earlier about Watson, Gronk can also benefit from no Godwin or potentially Miller. Gronk's snap count has continued to increase, and while I don't love the matchup vs. LAC per se, I do like Gronk's chances of nabbing a red zone score at some point. Gronk and O.J. Howard ($3,300) are worth looks as cheap options at the TE position.
D/ST
Chargers ($2,900) @ TB: Not much value as far as defenses go this week - the best options are certainly at the top. That being said, there's a possibility the Chargers' pass rush makes life difficult for Tom Brady and the Buccaneers, which is why I like their floor this week. I know the Bucs have plenty of offensive weapons and will likely score 20+ points, but you can hope for 3+ sacks and maybe a turnover or two from this Charger defense, which would be a solid outing considering the opponent. Keep in mind LAC kept the Chiefs to 23 points in Week 2, which is the most they've allowed to an opponent thus far.
Panthers ($2,700) vs. ARI: This one revolves a bit more around recency bias, as the Panthers made life difficult for Justin Herbert ($5,800) and the Chargers last week with 4 turnovers (1 INT/3 FR) and sacked Herbert twice. Kyler Murray ($7,000) and the Cardinals will be a tougher offensive opponent, and Murray's elusiveness makes the Panthers' floor a bit volatile, but I think they're good for a solid 4-5 DKFP at least - which is decent at their sub-$3,000 price point.
Who are you targeting for Week 4? Let's talk about the slate below!

First off I want to thank the 730+ unique users who helped cast 37,000+ votes on the voting polls for this weeks rankings, without their contributions this post would not be possible.
